Policies and Procedures

IiST Policies

IiST policies and procedures provide the professional framework for training, accreditation, registration and practice. Trainees and professional members are responsible for reading the policies relevant to them and for referring to the current published version.

Policies may be revised, so documents downloaded or saved previously should be checked against the most up-to-date version available on TriX.

Complaints about IiST training, provision or processes are managed under the IiST Student Complaints and Grievance Procedures Policy. Employment complaints should follow the appropriate Childhood First staff procedure. Concerns about wrongdoing or unsafe practice should be raised under the Whistleblowing Policy. Any concern about the safety or welfare of a child or vulnerable person must be reported immediately through safeguarding procedures.

Professional Members Tab

Professional members for whom IiST acts as the UKCP organisational member should use the current policies, standards and forms governing professional registration and continuing practice. This includes members listed on the IiST register who are accredited through IiST as their organisational member.

  • Reaccreditation procedure and forms
